On the second Thursday in May, the Delaware Bankers Association holds its Annual Meeting and Dinner in the Gold Ballroom of Wilmington's historic Hotel duPont. All members and associate members of the DBA are invited to attend the dinner portion of the event. The evening includes a prominent guest speaker. Past speakers have included best-seller authors William
F. Buckley, Mitch Albom, and James Bradley. Most recently, conservative pundit Tucker Carlson spoke at the 2008 Annual Meeting and Dinner.
