
Correspondence Courses
Delaware Bankers Association Financial Education Alliance is a Local ABA Training Provider
Is your time limited? Would you find it beneficial to study at your own pace? Is the nearest class site simply too far away? Even though there is no substitute for the classroom learning experience, correspondence courses are perfect for the student who likes to work independently and whose schedule does not permit attendance at a regular classroom course. Students are provided with a textbook, practical exercises and exams which are administered by your supervisor or a bank officer. Your assignments and exams are graded by a mentor who is assigned to you at the beginning of the course and is your contact throughout the class for questions and guidance.
Enroll Anytime! Just complete the registration form found following each course description below, print it and return to your HR/DBAFEA Representative. Exercises will be shipped to you within 3 weeks of registration.
Drop Fees: If you must withdraw from a correspondence course, your request must be made through your HR representative within 5 working days from the receipt of the text and exercises, which must be returned unopened. The fee to withdraw within the 5 day period is $75. There will be no refunds after the 5 day period.
Course Extensions If you cannont complete a course within the 6 month time frame, an extension request must be made through your HR Representative. A one-time only 2 month extension is $75. If the course has not been completed after the extension, the student will be graded as an "Incomplete."Credit Hours: Each correspondence course qualifies for 3 AIB credits.
